Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of busser. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience through effective communication and attention to detail. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and kitchen areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and presentable. Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to accommodate guests. Provide excellent food service by taking orders accurately and serving food and beverages efficiently. Support catering events by setting up, serving, and breaking down food stations as needed. Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and provide recommendations when necessary. Adhere to food handling safety standards and maintain compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Foster a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on restaurant or catering environments. Strong customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to interact positively with guests. Experience in cleaning and maintaining kitchen or dining areas is highly valued. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective teamwork and guest interaction. A background in hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
