Job Description
Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for a part-time Food Service Worker in our dietary services department at the rate of $17.30 per hour! We are looking for energetic, quick-learners who are able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and cafeteria environments! This position requires variable shift availability, including weekends and holidays. Part-time food service workers should expect to work at least 24 hours per week, including weekend work, as well as commit to 1,000 hours per rolling year. There is a pension plan with this position that will require a minimum of 9% contribution! Contact us to learn more. The purpose of this position is to maintain the sanitary condition of the kitchen and the equipment therein. Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive: Working meal tray assembly line Loading meal trays and transporting food carts to resident floors Cleaning assigned areas including dishes, tables, kitchen equipment, etc. Part-time employees are entitled to pro-rated vacation and sick hours based on how many hours they work! Employees are also eligible to view and bid on full-time positions. Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent . Experience in food service and/or long-term care facility preferred. ServSafe certification a plus. Must possess the ability to push/pull equipment, transport carts, climb ladders, and ride elevators as required. Position is open until filled. EOE
