Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This is a part time position, generally 2-3 days a week. The shift typically starts at 6 a.m. and lasts 6-8 hours depending on business needs. Cross training is available for additional hours if interested. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, set up and service of the daily complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a warm, welcoming environment that encourages guests to start their day on a positive note. Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Ensure all food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to uphold health regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food prep surfaces during service, and fully clean and recover the area after service. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling dishes, and restocking supplies as needed Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly Support the team in adhering to food safety management practices and proper weight handling procedures in the workplace Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues during busy service hours Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in person Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely and perform manual handling tasks comfortably Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety protocols
Pay:
From $12.50 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 16.0 per week
