Full Job Description Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (No nights or weekends!)
Location:
Wilkinsburg, PA Summary:
The Dining Services Assistant is responsible for the overall organization and coordination of the day center kitchen including ordering and serving meals to frail elders. Work duties vary on a day-to-day basis and a flexible work schedule is required. Local travel is required for grocery shopping and other meal-related home visit needs.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience:
Food service experience including ordering, preparing and serving meals. Experience maintaining kitchen equipment helpful.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Valid PA Driver's License and reliable vehicle ServSafe certification or willing to be certified within six months of hire.
Required Skills:
Ability to organize and maintain kitchen, supplies and food for frail elders Ability to work cooperatively with others and to communicate effectively.
