Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and proactive Bus Person to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will be the backbone of smooth dining experiences, supporting servers and ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive atmosphere where guests feel valued and well cared for. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring cleanliness and order. Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and accurately, supporting smooth service flow. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Handle food and dishware carefully during cleaning and transport, following safe lifting practices. Support food handling activities such as setting tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs. Help with basic kitchen or catering tasks when required, including light food handling or setup. Skills Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong cleaning skills with knowledge of sanitation standards in restaurants or hotels. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management. Customer service-oriented attitude with a friendly approach to guest interactions. Knowledge of table setting, food safety, and general restaurant operations is advantageous. Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
