Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Busser and become part of the essential support staff of this lively and welcoming venue. In this energetic role, you will support servers by maintaining a clean, organized work station. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create an exceptional guest experience. This position requires you to be on your feet up to 10 hours a day, polising glassware, and silverware, cleanning and resetting tables, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and assisting servers tablesside during dinner or lunch service. This is a great opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall success of our venue. Responsibilities Assist servers and the dining room by restocking supplies, glassware, silverware, clearing and resetting tales, taking out garbage bins and dirty linen bags Maintain cleanliness of the dining rooms and staff work stations with an emphasis on sanitation to meet safety standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety procedures. Uphold food service safety compliance standards and assist in maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve guests professionally. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods. Experience in food industry roles such as barista or barback is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards, restaurant safety compliance, and general restaurant procedures is desirable.
