Full Job Description Summary:
Under the direction of the Food Service Manager and the Dietary Supervisor, performs a variety of general kitchen, diet aide and cafeteria duties.
Education:
Requires the ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
Skills and Abilities:
Requires the use of some judgment to follow instructions and standard procedures. Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers. Maintains information confidential (HIPAA). Demonstrated customer service skills. Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines. Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams. Ability to utilize responsive customer service skills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers. Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or
Safety Requirements:
Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, standing, walking, climbing, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 50 lbs.
