In this energetic role, you will support the service staff by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and elevate the overall customer experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service and hospitality while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Duties Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and properly set for new guests Assist servers by bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware promptly Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing tables in accordance with food safety standards Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of chairs, tables, or supplies following safe lifting practices Support food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs Assist with light catering setup or breakdown as required for special events or functions Skills Strong cleaning and sanitation skills to uphold hygiene standards in all areas of the restaurant Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of table setting and serving protocols Excellent internal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management Customer service-oriented attitude with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and physical movement of furniture or supplies Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Hospitality experience in hotels or catering settings is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various food industry environments Effective communication skills to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Embark on a rewarding journey in hospitality where your proactive approach and friendly demeanor contribute directly to guest satisfaction.
