Job Overview Join our dynamic food service team as a Food Service Worker. We have front of house and back of house positions available. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and handling standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating, portioning, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for order processing and transactions. Maintain proper manual handling techniques when lifting, carrying, or moving food supplies and equipment to ensure safety. Uphold strict food safety management practices by following hygiene protocols and sanitizing work surfaces regularly. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items and addressing special dietary needs or requests. Qualifications Prior experience in restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations is essential. Experience with food preparation, serving, and catering operations enhances your suitability for this role. Familiarity with POS systems and basic weight handling in the workplace ensures smooth service delivery. Strong customer service skills coupled with hospitality experience contribute to creating positive guest interactions. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
