SENIOR CATERING DRIVER

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid SC Driver's License, good driving record, able to lift sixty (50) pounds, able to climb in and out of the back of the van and lift full Cambros in and out of van, able to read and write.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery of food to meal sites with accuracy, in a pleasant and cooperative manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Check menu daily to ensure that you know what food items need to be packed. Place your empty Cambros in designated location to pack your hot food.

Note:

An empty Cambro weighs approximately 25 lbs. Accurately pack all cold foods appropriately on ice. Pack hot foods as soon as they are ready. Check each voucher to ensure that you pack milk, deli meals, non-perishables, etc. as noted on voucher. Once you have loaded your van, be sure you have everything for your route; food, bread, milk, fruit, etc., as well as your telephone and clipboard. Clean your area before you leave. Be sure van is full of gas, mileage is recorded on log, and inside of van is cleaned out daily. Check vouchers for supplies needed at your sites, pull supplies and record in supply log. Notify manager of any incidents, lateness, traffic tickets, etc. Notify manager of any problems at the sites. Perform all other duties as assigned.
