Job Description
Overview Holly Tree Country Club is seeking a dynamic Server Assistant/Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences for our members. In this support role, you will assist servers by maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, running food to our members, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach will help keep the restaurant running smoothly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and making our members feel at home. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while working in a lively, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining space for guests. Assist with food and beverage delivery to tables, supporting servers in providing prompt service. Maintain high standards of sanitation by cleaning dishes, utensils, and restaurant surfaces regularly. Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting supplies, dishes, or equipment throughout the restaurant. Support food handling and sanitation procedures to uphold food safety regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Assist with catering setups or special event support as needed, ensuring smooth operation during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, and safe lifting practices to ensure a safe working environment. Strong communication skills for internal coordination and guest interactions. Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting and constant moving. Familiarity with restaurant operations such as table setting, serving protocols, and food safety standards is advantageous. Customer service mindset with a positive attitude and team spirit.
