The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while ensuring a clean and inviting breakfast area. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The Breakfast Attendant will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food stations and beverage stations. Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and replenished as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and serving equipment. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Clean and sanitize all kitchen tools and utensils after use. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items. Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing guest relations. Experience Previous kitchen experience is preferred, with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking skills. Experience in food service roles such as catering, restaurant work, or hotel environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary aide experience is a plus. Experience in bussing, cleaning, or hosting roles will be considered an asset. A background in culinary arts or barista experience can enhance your application.
