Rapid City, SD Job Summary:

The Concessions Worker supports our concessions operations in Roosevelt Park Ice Arena. This position assists with preparing and serving food, handling transactions, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Work assignments vary based on event schedules and may include supporting multiple concessions areas in a single shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide prompt, courteous service to guests in concession stands Assist with setup and breakdown of food service areas, including stocking supplies and maintaining equipment. Prepare, handle, and store food and beverages according to established safety and sanitation guidelines. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process transactions, and handle cash in compliance with cash-handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shifts, including wiping surfaces, disposing of trash, and cleaning equipment. Follow opening, operating, and closing procedures as directed. Restock products and supplies as needed during service to ensure continuous availability for guests.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support smooth event operations.

Qualifications:

Must be 16 years of age or older.

Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Work Environment:

The environment may involve exposure to loud noise levels, large crowds, and varying temperatures. Employees may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, hot equipment, and humidity. Standing and walking for long periods of time. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, and working in fast-paced conditions.
