No Department Details Summary Coordinates all food, beverages, equipment, staffing and scheduling for special events. Coordinates all events with the supervisors, director, secretary and nutritional food services employees. Monitors additional catering employees during an event. Serves as a role model, leads by example and displays the ability to coordinate other employee's work. Acts as a team resource, providing assistance and answers to questions. Job Description Gathers all food and supplies, transports and sets up for the event. Monitors and maintains quality control of food and equipment, restocking supplies and cleaning and sanitizing food services areas. Complies with all Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines. Maintains quality control standards. Possesses strong customer service skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Displays creative skills to attractively present food items. Exhibits good listening skills, effectively communicating with co-workers, customers and staff. Possesses the ability to work independently. Possesses an understanding of food safety and sanitation processes. Displays strong oral and written communication. Demonstrates ability to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk far distances. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Possesses ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Ability to perform basic math. Depending upon location applying for, a minimum of two years experience in a catering environment preferred. On-the-job training will be provided. Depending on location, may be required to have a current valid driver's license and meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category III drivers.
