Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic food industry environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine dining and a strong background in meal preparation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. Responsibilities:

Prepare large quantities of food from established recipes and menus in adherence with National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program requirements. Store prepared food and serve food to customers during mealtimes and within established timeframes. Clean kitchen and working areas at beginning and end of shifts and throughout the day. Ensure food safety procedures and regulations are observed in all kitchen operations to prevent foodborne illness. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Experience:

Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining setting. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and food presentation. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to help with other tasks as needed, such as assisting with cleaning or supporting other kitchen staff.
