Summary As a Dining Associate, you will support residents and guests by providing attentive meal service in a safe, clean dining environment. Reporting to the Dining Supervisor, you will apply core skills in food preparation, dietary compliance, and customer service to deliver meals, assist with dining room setup, and uphold sanitation and safety standards. Your experience in geriatric settings, nutrition/dietary requirements, and timely, respectful communication will contribute to a positive dining experience for residents in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted-living environment. Responsibilities Greet dining guests and assist with seating or service as needed, ensuring a welcoming and responsive atmosphere. Prepare and portion meals, assist with food production, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas and workstations. Serve meals and assist residents with table setting, dietary accommodations, and basic dietary guidance. Adhere to dietary requirements and food safety protocols; monitor stock levels and manage simple cleanup and sanitation tasks. Communicate clearly with supervisors and care staff to coordinate service and respond to resident needs promptly.
