Department Campus Dining Position Type Non-Exempt Employment Status Part-Time Salary $13.00 per hour Open Date 11/12/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; sells coffee; conducts coffee grinding and operates brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED); AND three (3) to six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency: Track record of delivering exceptional customer experience Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or special events Meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients Ability to perform many different tasks within the location during each shift Ability to learn quickly Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed Strong interpersonal skills Strong communication skills Ability to operate, clean, and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machine, milk steamer, coffee grinder, etc…Je Preferred Qualifications One (1) or more years of related experience and/or training.
