Marlowe is a new high-end Dallas lounge combining elevated food, serious cocktails, refined hospitality, and high-volume nightlife energy. Our support team plays a critical role in maintaining the pace, cleanliness, and polish of the guest experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Busser/Runner supports the flow of service through accurate food delivery, table maintenance, clearing, resetting, water service, and communication between the kitchen, bar, and service teams. The ideal candidate is fast, observant, organized, and committed to supporting the entire team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver food accurately and explain dishes when required Confirm table numbers, seat positions, modifications, and special requests Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables efficiently Maintain water service and monitor guest tables for support needs Keep service stations stocked, clean, and organized Communicate with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff Assist with polishing and organizing plateware, flatware, and glassware Support opening, closing, side-work, and cleaning responsibilities Maintain clean floors, aisles, service areas, and guest-facing spaces Handle dishes and service equipment carefully to minimize breakage

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Ability to follow table numbers, seat positions, and service instructions Clear communication and strong teamwork Dependable, punctual, organized, and guest-aware Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the role Food Handler certification as required Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required Marlowe is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and professional workplace.
