As part of our dynamic food truck operation, you will assist with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating menu items to ensure quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS system to process sales accurately and efficiently Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck environment by cleaning surfaces, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety standards Support food industry best practices by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and safety regulations Assist with bussing tables or clearing orders to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods Must be able to travel DFW area for events. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Culinary experience or kitchen background will be advantageous in supporting food prep tasks Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in retail math or grocery store operations demonstrates attention to detail in cash handling and sales transactions Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
