You can work as much or as little as you like asan On-Demand TeamMember(TM)and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs.



This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM,you will not be included on the posted weeklyschedule, butrather willhave the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via ourmyTimemobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule. Whenyouchoosetopick upashift, reliable and prompt attendanceisnecessary. Wealsoask foryour active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours).Flexibilitycan be grantedin certain circumstances, but youneedtorespond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interestin working shifts at Target.



If you do not respond to our attempts at contact, your employmentmay beterminated.



Additionally, if youdo not workat leastoneshift within 5 months,your employment with Target will be administrativelyterminated. Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it most are critical to your success in this role. Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role.

Promoting and engaging aroundvarious benefits,offeringsand services As a Guest Advocate, no two daysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities: Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.

Create a welcoming experience bygreeting guests as you are completingyour daily tasks.

When guests needassistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specificneeds.

Beknowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in thetotalstore, and specific to your area, to solve issues for theguestand improve their experience.

Thankguestsand let them knowwerehappy they chose to shop at Target.

Scan and bag all guest items efficiently,accuratelyand in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.

Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time whilemaintainingguest service and accuracy.

Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.

Knowandspeaktothe benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest andassistwith application or sign-up as needed.



Be familiar with all fulfillment services, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use them.

Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the other features and offerings within the Target App.

Attempt every return and follow register prompts,partneringwith immediateleaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Targets policies and procedures.

Partner withleaders as needed to de-escalate anysituations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Targets policies and procedures.

Deliver easy andaccurateservice to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.

Maintain a clean, clutter free work area (including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers).

Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest.

Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.

Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.

Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders,DUReturns andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and localadult beveragelaws.

Support Cash Office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.

All other duties based on business needs We are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect: Accurately handle cash register operations,cash transactions,andsupport cash office operations as needed

Scan,handleand move merchandise efficiently and safely, includingfrequentlylifting or movingproduct upto 10 poundsand occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44pounds withoutadditionalassistance from others.

Flexibilitywhen picking up shifts(e.g., nights,weekendsand holidays)to help meet store needs

Active engagement by picking up and working shiftsas well as respondingtoour attempts at contact.



You must work at least one shift within5months or you will be administrativelyterminated.

Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.

Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
