The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills and experience in food preparation, ensuring that all food items are handled safely and efficiently. As a Handler, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Should be available from 6 AM - 2 PM From M- F. Prepare and handle food items according to established safety and sanitation guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs. Assist with sales activities, including upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Perform cashiering duties accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Support team members with bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Uphold high standards of food safety throughout all stages of food handling. Skills Proven experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with a background in the food industry or restaurant experience. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to maximize customer satisfaction. Proficient in cashiering duties, including cash handling and retail math. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
