Aid in the service of guests by delivering condiments or table accompaniments upon their arrival. Providing beverage refills as needed. Remove used tableware between courses; clear and reset tables after guests leave. Aid in the overall cleanliness of the Restaurant and Outdoor Dining areas. Cross training with the other positions to ensure consistent delivery of service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed. Demonstrate excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette. Communicate special guest needs to servers and restaurant supervisors. Collect and maintain cleanliness of dining menus throughout the restaurant. Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, service staff and guests to ensure dining details are handled properly and guest concerns are addressed. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of restaurant offerings to communicate with guests and prepare them for their dining experience. Provide guidance to guests on dining options and general restaurant information. Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to table. Remove used tableware between courses and aid in providing tableware for next course including rolling sliver duties. Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas in the soiled dish drop off area. Between seating's promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths. Check floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed. Communicate with server to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service. Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties during peak periods. Thank guests as they are leaving. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. Follow all policies and procedures of MH Restaurants. Attend all mandatory meetings as directed. Perform other tasks, including cross-training as directed. Maintain dress code and uniform standard. Complete required training assigned through the company training portal. Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule. Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the MH Restaurants group brand. Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous guest service experience preferred. Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge. Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays. Flexible schedule helpful. Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
