Job Description

On Point Personnel is seeking dependable and motivated Food and Beverage Workers to support food service operations at a university campus in the Stephenville, TX area . This is a versatile food service position. Team members may assist in different areas of the operation based on experience, skills, event schedules, and business needs. Assignments may include cafeteria service, food preparation, kitchen support, dishroom duties, dining service, or banquet operations.
Pay:
$14.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment

As soon as possible Responsibilities Responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned work area and may include: Assist with daily cafeteria and food service operations Prepare, portion, and serve food according to established procedures Assist cooks with basic food preparation and kitchen duties Set up and maintain food service stations Serve meals, beverages, and other food items to guests Assist with banquet setup, service, and breakdown as needed Set up tables, chairs, serving stations, and event areas Wash dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Operate commercial dishwashing or food service equipment when assigned Restock food, beverages, utensils, and supplies Maintain clean and organized kitchens, service areas, dining areas, and workstations Remove trash and maintain proper sanitation throughout assigned areas Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Provide professional and courteous service to students, faculty, staff, and guests Assist other team members during high-volume meal periods or events Perform additional food and beverage duties based on operational needs Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurants, cafeterias, catering, banquets, hospitality, or commercial kitchens is preferred but not required for all assignments Previous cooking experience may be required for assignments involving food preparation or cooking Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to assist in different areas of the food and beverage operation Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food service and banquet operations Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards Flexible availability may be required depending on cafeteria schedules and special events Work Environment This position may involve working in commercial kitchens, cafeteria service areas, dining rooms, dishrooms, and banquet or event spaces. Employees may be assigned to different responsibilities depending on their experience and the operational needs of the facility. Candidates will be considered for assignments that best match their qualifications, availability, and previous experience.
Pay:
