Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations efficiently using reservation system. Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Support food preparation and plating in the kitchen as needed, ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Deliver food and beverages accurately to guests' tables, ensuring order correctness and presentation quality. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards. Handle guest inquiries courteously via in-person interactions or phone etiquette, providing excellent customer service at all times. Support catering or banquet events by setting up tables, serving meals, and assisting with meal preparation or cleanup as required. Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess, busser, or support staff in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations such as Toast POS. Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices to ensure guest safety. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads (such as trays or boxes), and perform physical tasks involved in cleaning and bussing. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional guest services and foster positive guest relations. Experience with food preparation, beverage service, dishwashing, or catering is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
