Duties Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring presentation meets quality standards and guest expectations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including counters, tables, and equipment, following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling ingredients, and portioning items accurately Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations Handle manual tasks such as lifting supplies, restocking buffet items, and managing weight handling in the workplace Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols and food handling regulations at all times Support catering or banquet setups when required, contributing to overall guest satisfaction during special events Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting; fine dining experience is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment confidently and safely Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in in-person interactions Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing inventory levels Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing Knowledge of wine pairing or wine knowledge is advantageous for enhancing guest experience during breakfast service Previous restaurant or catering experience that demonstrates culinary expertise and adaptability Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to start each day with energy and enthusiasm!
