Job Description
Job Summary Our team at the Hampton Inn in Front Royal, VA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of food handling and presentation. Responsibilities
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, including taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Operate equipment such as coffee machines and toasters while ensuring they are clean and functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and special requests.
- Handle any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct inventories, track waste, create orders, and assist in other areas to ensure balanced food costs, and high quality. Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness in all areas of service.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
