Job Summary Grazie Nonna is seeking dedicated and experienced Food Runners & Bussers, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this vital role, you will ensure smooth service flow by efficiently delivering food, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will support our culinary team and enhance guest satisfaction, making each visit memorable. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Safely transport food from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices. Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring cleanliness and organization for incoming guests. Assist with food running duties, delivering orders accurately and efficiently to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sweeping floors, and sanitizing surfaces regularly to uphold food safety standards. Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and food handling tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to ensure smooth service flow. Handle in-person guest interactions with professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness. Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety guidelines. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar for order accuracy. Basic culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep tasks. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to hospitality.
