Host / Beer Attendant / Food Runner Scotty's Taphouse is looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable team member to join our front-of-house team as a Host / Beer Attendant / Food Runner . This is a fast-paced position that plays an important role in creating a great guest experience. The ideal candidate is outgoing, attentive, comfortable working in a busy environment, and willing to jump in wherever the team needs help. Responsibilities Host Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Greet guests as they arrive and assist with seating and general questions. Help manage the flow of guests during busy periods. Communicate wait times and seating information clearly. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host area. Assist with guest needs and provide excellent customer service. Beer Attendant Monitor and maintain Scotty's self-serve beer wall. Assist guests with using the beer wall and answer questions about available selections. Keep the beer wall, surrounding area, and glassware stations clean and stocked. Monitor beer levels and communicate when kegs or products need attention. Follow all company policies and Virginia ABC requirements. Help maintain a clean and organized bar and guest area. Food Runner Deliver food and other items to guests quickly and accurately. Confirm orders are complete before taking them to the table. Communicate with the kitchen, servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service. Assist servers and bartenders during busy periods. Clear and reset tables as needed. Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining and guest areas. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills. Reliable and punctual. Able to work well as part of a team. Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods. Strong communication skills. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Previous restaurant, bar, hosting, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Schedule & Availability Friday & Saturday availability is required. Friday and Saturday shifts will generally be 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM . Additional shifts may be available during the week based on business needs and the employee's availability. We are looking for someone who is interested in picking up additional hours when available.
