WHAT YOU'LL DO
Exemplifies MCR's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort. Ensure banquet and meeting room cleanliness and organization is completed in a timely manner and assist the Banquet Captain and staff during large functions. Ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly set in a timely manner, so that the banquet service staff may prepare for functions. Refresh rooms on time, have water in rooms as directed by BEO and/or Banquet Captain. Ensure rooms are clean and set for appropriate functions. Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events. Report anything less than perfect condition to maintenance for repair. Ensure all supplies are readily available per the BEO and all equipment is set up and working properly. Ensure banquet/meeting space is quickly flipped, and all areas are spotless for the next guest/function. Ensure all post-function cleaning duties are completed - floors, tables, buffet stations, etc. Provide excellent food and beverage service when applicable for banquet events. Maintain knowledge of all established policies and procedures. Maintain sense of urgency when on the service floor. Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for the overall productivity of banquet events. Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success. Always follow Health and Safety practices. Anticipate problems and ask for management assistance as needed. Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to the appropriate personnel. Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license. 1 (one) year banquet set up experience preferred. Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
