Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including food stations, tables, and kitchen equipment. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and guest safety. Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, and warming trays efficiently and safely. Handle manual tasks including food portioning, weight handling, and processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems. Assist with food preparation tasks for breakfast offerings, supporting culinary staff as needed. Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing special dietary requests or inquiries. Ensure proper food handling practices are followed at all times to maintain food safety management standards. Support catering or banquet setups when required, contributing to larger events or special functions. Maintain a clean working environment by adhering to cleaning schedules and food safety regulations throughout your shift. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures is essential. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, ovens, or warming devices is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person. Familiarity with POS systems for processing cash transactions accurately. Ability to handle weight handling tasks safely within the workplace environment. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing cash register operations. Experience in catering, banquet service or dietary aide roles is a plus. Knowledge of wine service or beverage pairing can be an added advantage in enhancing guest experience.
