Role:
As a Hotel Breakfast Attendant at Hampton Inn and Suites in Dupont, WA, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive start to our guests' day by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and inviting breakfast area. Your efforts will directly contribute to guest satisfaction by providing timely replenishment of food items, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and offering friendly customer service. You will be responsible for adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment. This role requires attentiveness to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently during busy breakfast hours. Ultimately, your work will enhance the overall guest experience and support the hotel's reputation for quality and hospitality. Start time is 5am
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices as required by local health regulations. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying food items. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in food safety or food handler's permit. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends. Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed throughout the service period. Monitor food temperatures and quality to comply with health and safety standards, promptly addressing any issues that arise. Clean and sanitize dining and service areas regularly, including tables, counters, and equipment, to maintain a hygienic environment. Provide courteous and helpful service to guests, responding to inquiries and accommodating special requests when possible. Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and helping with the receipt and storage of breakfast supplies.
