LOCATION
Various Buildings HOURS:
On call, as needed. Hours may vary.
SALARY:
$20.18 Salary Schedules
NEW HIRES ARE CONDITIONAL UPON PASSING A FINGERPRINT SCREENING ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in preparation and serving of food; clean up dining and kitchen areas Serve food in cafeteria line. May relieve or assist other employees in higher-level food preparation tasks to meet emergency or on-the-job situations. Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; operate dishwasher. Practice all sanitation and health regulations.
NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist other personnel as may be required to support them with the completion of their work activities. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Valid Washington State Department of Health Food Worker's Card, required. Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English, required. Prior job-related experience preferred but not required. Experience working in a K-12 setting preferred but not required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to lift 40 or more pounds. Demonstrate exemplary customer service and responsiveness. Demonstrate aptitude and manual dexterity for successful performance of tasks listed. Ability to demonstrate punctuality and an excellent work attendance record. Letters and applications received after closing date will only be accepted and screened if the position remains unfilled .
