26-27 FamilyWorks Food Access Assistant AmeriCorps - 4.3 Seattle, WA Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. FamilyWorks serves families in North Seattle through our food bank and resource center. We serve nearly 6,000 households each year. The member will help expand equitable access to nutritious food and a welcoming community through food distribution, data collection, and volunteer engagement. We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in early-mid September.
Monthly stipend amount:
$1,942.
Member Duties :
The Food Access Assistant supports FamilyWorks' food bank and mobile pantry programs.
They will:
support daily food bank operations, including intake, stocking, and distribution; assist with home delivery and groceries to go programs; collect and enter data on food distribution and participants served; promote a welcoming environment for all; support culturally relevant food sources.
