Job Description

Join the SGC family for the Golf season in the cafe! Our ideal candidates have at least 2 years of customer service, active food handlers and class12 permits, and are over the age of 21 years old. We are hiring for mid (8-4 / 9-5 / 10-6) and closing (12-8 / 1-9) shifts only at this time.
About the role:
Customer Service & Sales:
Greet golfers, take food/beverage orders through service windows or over the phone, and operate the POS system to process payments (cash/credit) accurately.
Food & Beverage Service:
Prepare, serve, and restock food, snacks, coffee, and alcohol, ensuring compliance with local alcohol serving regulations and house rules and recipes.
Maintenance & Sanitation:
Clean the dining area, tables, and equipment, and ensure beverage coolers are fully stocked and clean.
Food preparation:
Follow house recipes to make menu items such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos, burgers, salads, and more.
Operational Support:
Leave the cafe better than I found it, fill coolers, check stock, and report any lows or issues to manager on duty.
Communication:
Coordinate with other staff, inform golfers about menu items, keep up to date on playing time and delays through pro shop.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
