Lets "Level Up" together!!As a Breakfast Attendant @ the Element Tukwila Hotel, you will prepare the breakfast buffet bar for hotel guests while greeting and serving them in a friendly manner, consistent with brand and/or hotel sustainability standards. Your goal is to provide Level5 Hospitality and service for each and every guest!
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the daily service hours Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty the garbages Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly Address guest questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, and/or trays Fill beverage dispensers Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment Performs other related duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Level5 High Touch service Flexibility with shifts and scheduling Must be available some weekends and/or holidays Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must have stellar attendance and punctuality
Education and Experience:
Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification Experience working in food service is preferred (WA Food Handlers permit required) Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Outstanding time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift. Must be able to access and navigate the facility. Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment. Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Weekdays:
5am-11:30am (on avg.)
Weekends:
5:30am-12pm (on avg.)30-40 hours per week on avg (this is a Full-time role)
