Job Description
BREAKFAST ATTENDANT A
position requiring an energetic, hardworking and motivated person with excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in the hospitality industry. The breakfast attendant will be responsible for preparing and serving daily breakfast, greeting each guest and ensuring that guests are comfortable and satisfied. Working hours for this position are approximately 5:30am to 10:30am. Ideal for semi-retired or retired person. (Shift expectations of 4 days on, 3 days off week 1 and 3 days on, 4 days off week 2.)- Providing personalized service to all guests.
- Setting up and maintaining breakfast as required, meeting property and health department standards.
- Preparing foods such as eggs, breakfast meats, fresh fruit, and coffee.
- Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups and other serving products.
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
- Preparing and setting up hot food items.
- Washing serving equipment and dishes and returning to storage.
- Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets and floors - mop, sweep and/or vacuum.
- Always maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints.
- Maintain breakfast supplies and inventory needed in accordance with occupancy forecasts, submitting purchase requisitions for products as needed in a timely manner.
- Any additional duties as assigned by management.
