Food Packaging Worker Minnesota Staffing - 4.5 Superior, WI Job Details Temporary $19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Minnesota staffing is searching for dependable individuals for a customer of ours in Superior, Wisconsin This position is for two months , but can be temp to hire for thar dependable and motivated candidate Those with forklift experience can be paid $20/hour Hours are 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday Payroll is done immediately on Mondays with direct deposits hitting on Wednesdays We are looking for candidates to start on 11/24/2025 drug test and background check will be required Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Food Packaging Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging food products in accordance with safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including conveyor belts, filling stations, and sealing machines, ensuring smooth workflow. Assemble packaging components using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to prepare products for final packaging. Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications before packing. Use forklifts and warehouse experience to move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods efficiently within the facility. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment in compliance with sanitation protocols. Document production data accurately, including quantities packed and any deviations from standard procedures. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues with packaging equipment using mechanical knowledge and hand tools. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment. Support inventory management by organizing packaging supplies and reporting low stock levels. Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production goals and improve processes. Skills Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues. Experience operating programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging systems. Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines relevant to food manufacturing environments. Proficiency in packaging techniques within a manufacturing setting. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is preferred. Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly or minor repairs. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to food production. Excellent attention to detail for quality control inspections. Good organizational skills for managing supplies and documentation. Effective communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.
