Position Overview:

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Butcher Shop Team Member to join our team. You will be the face of our shop, assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. This role requires a strong customer service focus, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about our products.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in selecting meats, specialty items, and other products. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cuts, cooking methods, and preparation. Operate scales, cash registers, and point-of-sale systems. Ensure proper product handling, packaging, and labeling in compliance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases, counters, and work areas. Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and monitor product quality. Work collaboratively with butchers and team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience preferred (but not required). Interest in food, cooking, or specialty meats a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
