Job Description
Duties:
- Prepare, cut, and package various types of meat products according to customer specifications
- Ensure proper handling and storage of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a clean work environment
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, including knives, grinders, and slicers
- Assist customers with selecting the right cuts of meat and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food handling, food preparation, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong knife skills and the ability to handle meat products safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen or production line as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
