Job Description
Paul's Fruit Market Inc. has been a Louisville tradition since 1945. We are a family-owned retail grocery store specializing in the finest produce, meat, deli, and gourmet selections available. Customer Service is our highest priority! We are currently looking to hire a part-time or full-time butcher to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in the field and demonstrate the highest level of service when dealing with customers.
Job Requirements:
- Assist customers with meat selection
- Ability to offer cooking techniques for all types of meat
- Assist customers with specialty orders
- Be familiar with all products carried in the department
- Prepare specialty merchandise like sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats
- Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays
- Notify manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise
- Must be able to lift and move at least 50 pounds regularly.
