Meat Cutter -

Walton, KY Pay:

$19/hr + DOE We are seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join a fast-paced team in Walton, KY. This is a hands-on role where your knife skills will be put to great use. Prior chef or butchering experience is highly valued. Candidates with experience cutting deer, hogs, or similar are also encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays may be required)

Requirements:

Prior experience using knives to cut and butcher meat (chef experience ideal) Comfortable working in wet, refrigerated, and freezer environments Ability to maintain a sharp knife edge Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety

Responsibilities:

Use knives and tools to prepare and trim meat to desired specifications and yield targets Ensure products are properly cut, labeled, and handled to meet quality and safety standards Handle exposed product with care to prevent contamination or misbranding Perform quality inspections and accurate portioning of products Maintain sharp knives and a clean, sanitary work area Follow standards for cutting performance and yield Conduct sanitation cleaning as needed Assist supervisors with other assigned duties This is a great opportunity for someone with strong knife skills looking for steady, rewarding work.
