Responsibilities include:

Cutting, trimming, and preparing beef, pork, poultry, and other meats Preparing attractive, properly packaged products for the meat case Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked meat department Following proper food safety and sanitation procedures Assisting customers and providing friendly, dependable service Helping with inventory, rotation, and minimizing product waste

Qualifications:

Previous meat-cutting or butcher experience

REQUIRED

Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper cutting techniques Dependable and able to work well as part of a team Able to lift and handle meat cases and products throughout the workday Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
