Responsibilities Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications. Ensure all meat products are prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Operate knives and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently. Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders and meet customer demands. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and report any shortages or discrepancies. Needs to be able to lift up to 50lbs Skills Proven experience in food production or culinary roles, with a focus on meat cutting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient knife skills with an understanding of various cutting techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Familiarity with packaging procedures for meat products. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
