This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of meat cuts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for sale, including beef, poultry, pork, and lamb. Operate cutting tools and machinery, such as band saws, knives, and grinders. Ensure all meat products are cut to customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and tools. Monitor and track inventory levels of meat products and supplies. Assist customers with meat selections and provide cooking tips or recommendations when needed. Follow all safety and health regulations regarding the handling and storage of meat products. Package and label meat products for display or customer orders. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher required. Ability to work with sharp knives and heavy-duty machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy products and stand for extended periods. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Market's busiest times. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications and discussed during the interview.
