Our customers are the best, they love high quality proteins that are sourced from local farms and you can help us make the products that they so love here at LEB. If you're not familiar with Louise Earl Butcher, we are a whole animal butcher shop that works with local farmers and specializes in naturally raised proteins. We fabricate everything from scratch and make everything in-house. If you want to be in an atmosphere where you can learn every aspect of whole animal butchering, this is it and it's fun and fast. The production position helps with production in the shop, from Curing Bacon, Ham, and other smoked meats, to helping fulfill retail customer orders and more. You will assist butchers and the rest of the production team in projects around the shop and help with stuffing the fresh sausage we make we weekly. The position does require working weekends, but Louise Earl isn't open later than 6:00pm on weekdays, 5:00 on Saturday, 4:00 on Sunday (we're closed on Sundays in the summer), closed on Mondays. Everyone shares in a tip pool (which averages $3hr additional to your hourly pay) from our retail customers, there is a family meal each day and discounts on all the products available in the shop. ServeSafe and TIPS training are a plus but not required. If you're interested send a resumé and we'll set up a time to show you the shop and talk.
