Responsibilities Prepare and cut meats using proper butchery techniques, including trimming, slicing, and meat preparation to meet customer specifications. Operate meat processing machines safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent quality in slicing and packaging. Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for perishable goods. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable advice on meat cuts, cooking methods, and food handling tips. Manage inventory by properly storing perishable goods, monitoring freshness, and rotating stock to minimize waste. Conduct visual inspections for quality control, ensuring all meats meet established standards before packaging or sale. Support food production tasks such as fish handling or other related food industry activities as needed. Pay negotiable based on experience.
