Job Description

Role Overview:
This position involves cutting and preparing various types of meats according to company standards, ensuring product quality and safety. Responsibilities include slicing, weighing, and packaging meat products, creating value-added items, following recipes for sausage and ground meats, and maintaining proper merchandising and inventory. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, adhering to safety and food safety guidelines, and providing excellent customer service through suggestive selling. Additional duties may include stocking, unloading merchandise, and assisting in other departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
A high school diploma or GED is required, with preferred experience in retail or meat cutting roles. Must demonstrate basic math, reading, and comprehension skills, along with attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments is essential.
Key Duties:
Cutting and weighing meats, producing value-added products, following safety protocols, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting customers. The role demands physical stamina, knowledge of products, and adherence to safety and food handling standards.
