Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Meat Cutter and become a vital part of delivering high-quality, fresh meat products to our customers. In this energetic role, you will utilize your culinary expertise and knife skills to expertly cut, prepare, and package a variety of meats. Your attention to food safety and food handling standards will ensure every product meets our rigorous quality expectations. We work 4-10 hour shifts Responsibilities Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specified standards and customer requests Ensure all meat products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment throughout your shift Assist customers with their meat selections, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods, and provide excellent customer service Follow all food handling protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness of products Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns Qualifications Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, preferably within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Prior experience with packaging, labeling, and storing perishable goods is preferred Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a difference!
