Full job description Blue Mountain Deer Processing is a seasonal deer processing business located in Enola, PA, near Mechanicsburg, PA. We process 1,800+ deer every fall and winter for hunters across central Pennsylvania. We are a full-service processor, and in addition to handling the entire butchering process for our customers, we make a wide range of Fresh & Smoked Venison products. We pride ourselves on providing a high-quality product for our customers, which has made us the fastest-growing and now the largest deer processor in the area. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us for the 2025 deer hunting season. The job will start in early October 2026 and go through December 2026. There is an opportunity for repeat work during the same season each year. What You Will Do Cutting/Butchering of deer carcasses using a boning knife. All cuts are boned by hand; no Band saw.
Bagging & Vacuum Sealing all Fresh Cuts
Clean up your cutting table & area when finished for the day. Other Job Requirements Work with raw meat
Being able to lift 60+ lbs.
Wear latex gloves while handling food products
Handle working in cool & cold temperatures
Be on your feet up to 8 hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Listen & follow directions
Pride in your work & strive to do quality work
Open availability Monday through Friday
18 or older
Attention to detail
Speed & Accuracy Experience You must have some experience as a butcher or meat cutter. We will train you on breaking down a deer.
