Job Description
Overview The Buck Stop is a family-owned butcher shop that focuses on deer processing. In this role, you will join our team and help with shop sanitization, deer skinning, meat cutting, labeling and packaging. You will also help to ensure all products meet food safety standards. The Buck Stop offers plenty of opportinuties for overtime, and performance-based raises, even within the first 30 days. This seasonal position is open from September- May, with potential opportinity for full time work throughout the summer. This job will require you to work long days, weekends, and minor holidays throughout hunting season. We reward hard work and dedication. Responsibilities Clean equipment and shop daily Assist with meat processing, including meat cutting and slicing Skin, drag, and hang deer Salt hides Operate food processing equipment (knives, meat slicers, vacuum packer, hoist, ect.) safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness at all times Follow directions and have attention to detail Collaborate with coworkers and have a positive attitude Requirements High School Diploma or GED Work long days and weekends Lift 50+ lbs Be on your feet for 8+ hrs Basic computer skills No previous expeirience needed
